This project was a summary illustration created for the Royal Edinburgh Society on the run-up to the local elections. This is my illustration of a roundtable discussion, bringing to the table often unrepresented voices. The meeting ran for just under 90 minutes. This is my summary of what was discussed. A summary illustration is great for those meetings that have happened, behind closed doors. Instead of just creating a text of minutes, visuals help to add weight and clarity to the words shared with everyone involved in the process. This image was widely shared throughout social media campaigns through the RSE.

Who gets to belong? And who gets left behind?
