This project took place in a studio space, working with members of the community discussing ideas for a sculpture to be made to celebrate the oak in Birnam Wood. People were invited to draw their ideas, write poetry and talk about their thoughts around the passage in Shakespeare’s Macbeth that mentions Birnam Oak. This project was organised through Birmingham University.
