Macbeth Birham Oak

This was a collaboration with Birmingham University and the local community of Birnam. Local stonemason Lewis Morrison was commissioned to create a sculpture to mark the famous tree from Shakespeare’s Macbeth. During the Live Illustration workshop, people created artworks and poetry about their thoughts for the project. The image below is a colouring sheet I created for the project’s website. People can download the colour sheet then fill it in as they wish. Here you will see the images I drew during the discussion and how these were used to create the finished digital artwork online.
