Live Illustration

Live Illustration (aka Graphic Facilitation, Live Scribe, Sketchnote) is a great way to engage your conference attendees.  Visual information lands in the mind more effectively than heard words and let's face it, Powerpoint can be a little bit boring to watch. I have been live illustrating events for years.  My work can either be hand drawn or digital, depending on your needs for the day.

If you are planning a conference, a summit, a workshop, a discussion, an AGM, a wedding, a business launch event or more, this might be what you need to add that zingy wow factor to your event.

Live Illustration Packages

1/2 Day (up to 3 hours): £700 + Travel

What is included:

A 'getting to know you' conversation online.  What is your aim for these illustrations?  Do you want to capture the buzzing atmosphere?  Do you want main points to be distilled into easy to read information?  Will I be drawing main speakers and their messages?  Will there be break out groups?  This is a great time for you to tell me all about your event.

I will arrive on the day, ready to go with pens or ipad and connecting cables in hand.  For digital work you will need to provide the projector.  For hand drawn work, I provide all the goods.

1 round of edits for digital work. Did I not get that technical term down correctly?  Does an image need to be shuffled to the right?  Now is your chance for a few tweaks to make this work shine.

Directly after the event you will receive your images plus licensing agreement which gives you the right to use the images for social media, websites, reports, marketing and more. If you have chosen digital illustration, you will receive a video of the artwork.

 

A Fabulous full day of Live Illustration: starting at £1,500 + Travel

This includes everything listed above plus many more happy hours of illustration.  This option is great for international summits, perfect for discussions with breakout groups, deeper dives into tricky topics and more.

Meeting Summary Illustration

This option is great for AGMs, Research groups, and other smaller meetings.  Send a recording of your meeting and I will create an illustration for you that captures the main points, where you've been and next steps.  And example of this work can be seen at the top of the page.

Academic Research Illustrations

Over the past few years I have been creating illustrations for various research groups at different universities throughout the UK.  These include Edinburgh University, Napier, University College London and more.

Prices start at £1,000

Each piece of research is complex.  I start with a 30 - 45 minute video chat to discover the main points needing to be illustrated for thesis work and more.  Visual information creates a strong impact for academic work, emphasising important discoveries, specific technologies, executive summaries...the list could go on.
